The alpha SGT is a thinning scissor built on the same SG2 powder micro-particle steel platform as the high-grade cutting range. Produced at Alpha Scissor Co.’s Kichijoji, Tokyo workshop, it comes in three tooth configurations: 16 teeth (SGT16), 18 teeth (SGT18), and 20 teeth (SGT20).
Lower tooth counts remove more hair per stroke and suit coarser blending work; the 20-tooth version gives finer removal and more controlled texturising. All three share the same offset handle and SG2 steel construction.
