Where this sits
Manufactured in Japan.
The Wing N is a cutting scissor from Yamato, made from Cobalt Molybdenum alloy steel and hand-finished at the Fuji More-Z plant in Sakai, Osaka — Japan’s established centre for blade manufacturing. The convex grind produces a smooth cutting edge suited to slide cutting, slicing, and scissor-over-comb work.
Cobalt Molybdenum alloy steel combines cobalt for hardness and wear resistance with molybdenum for toughness. This steel combination allows the edge to hold its geometry longer between sharpenings than standard stainless steel.
