Mork’s BW product page lists four model codes. Its cutting-scissors directory separately confirms the four inch sizes, so those sizes do not depend on interpreting model numbers.

The range is listed as 5.5, 6.0, 6.5 and 7.0 inches. Prices above were read on 30 September 2026; confirm size, tax treatment, shipping and order acceptance with the seller. The page displayed stock labels, but that is not verification that a particular order can be fulfilled. Ask for a quotation for the selected model rather than converting a family starting price into an offer.

Double bearing and adjustment access

The exact model description names a double-bearing screw, ダブルベアリングネジ, and uses 無触点 for its non-contact design. Mork’s company account also identifies the BW/double-bearing screw in its development history. It does not attribute a resin dry-bearing invention to BW.

Mork associates the design with stable action and light opening. Those are maker statements, without a published force comparison or an internal parts specification on the reviewed page. They do not establish that every bearing, washer or contact surface is absent, or that the complete tool needs no lubrication.

For fine screw adjustment, the maker explicitly requires the BW-specific screwdriver. It also directs BW sharpening to Mork because the screw needs special adjustment. Confirm the fitted assembly and compatible tool before working on an older or previously repaired pair. A similar-looking screw head does not establish compatibility.

Blade, handle and material

Mork calls the blade profile a propeller blade and identifies an offset twist handle. The cutting directory groups K-3 twist and K-1 handle descriptions with links to BW and BW-N; the latter is a separate configuration to confirm before purchase. A family description does not establish that every offered pair has the same handle.

The maker names powder metal and reports its own 61 HRC result. This is useful model-specific evidence, but the page does not provide a complete alloy composition, named standard grade or individual test certificate. Its claims about fine structure, wear resistance, corrosion resistance and edge life remain attributed claims. Mork’s illustrated care sheet, linked from its cutting directory, calls for gentle wiping after use, removal of hair at the contact area and oil on both faces of the blades at the end of the day.
